Dave and Greg Graf have a combined 100 years of experience in the lumber industry. At Graf Brothers, we specialize in Rift and Quartered White Oak lumber and are the World’s Largest Manufacturer of rift and quarter sawn oak products.

Rift & Quartered lumber results from a unique way of sawing that maximizes the yield of lumber with vertical grain. Lumber that has been sawn using this method expands evenly and vertically, which also increases the structural integrity of the wood.

Located on an 80-acre site, Graf Brothers’ Kentucky-based lumber and flooring production includes state-of-the-art sawmills and manufacturing rip lines. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of innovation in both lumber and flooring production.

We currently produce 125,000 board feet of lumber per shift and maintain stock at our West Coast warehouse in Long Beach, California. This allows us to service the just in time inventory level that specialty flooring customers and distribution yards demand in today’s economic climate.

In addition to the two sawmills, Graf Brothers is also supplied by two other sawmills in Ohio. Our sawmills are designed to manufacture Rift and Quarter Sawn products. We have regularly produced precision-cut Quarter Sawn boards up to 24″ wide. These board widths are unheard of in the industry, but we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of the lumber industry.

In addition to our domestic sales offices, we have an extensive lumber export division that provides for clientele in Greece, China, Belgium, Germany and England.
